CBS Films Move 'Seven Psychopaths' Up To October 12th

Friday, August 3, 2012

The good news is that we're a little closer to seeing Martin McDonagh's "Seven Psychopaths," his follow up to the excellent "In Bruges." The film, which stars Colin Farrell, Christopher Walken and Sam Rockwell as a trio of friends who become the target of a psychotic gangster (Woody Harrelson), will premiere as part of the Midnight Madness section at TIFF next month, but wasn't set for release until November 2nd, and even then only as part of a limited roll-out. But now, CBS has moved the film up nearly a whole month, and it'll open wide on October 12th, opposite Ben Affleck's "Argo" and Kevin James' vehicle "Here Comes The Boom." More

Kate Beckinsale Praises 'Amazing' Colin Farrell

Tuesday, July 31, 2012

Kate Beckinsale and Colin Farrell team up in the futuristic action-packed Total Recall, and although the two maintain a complex and occasionally violent relationship in the film, Beckinsale praised Farrell with a plethora of flattering adjectives. "He is probably the nicest person in the whole world," Beckinsale admired. "He's incredibly professional; he's brilliant at all the physical stuff; he's an amazing actor; he's on time; he pleases the female crew by walking around with pajama bottoms and his shirt off; he's a brilliant dad...I can't say enough good things about him. I loved him."More

Men's Health UK September 2012

With his new movie "Total Recall" set to hit theaters on August 3rd, Colin Farrell garnered himself a little added exposure by covering the September 2012 issue of Men's Health UK magazine. The 36-year-old big screen stud looked handsome in a t-shirt, jeans and boots from Allsaints Spitalfields for the James White shot front page while dishing about everything from his clean lifestyle to what he has planned for the future. On being an action hero: "I didn't think I'd go back to action again. I was doing things that were a bit more... cerebral. But I feel good. I mean, I'm tired - you can get very weak, and you get kind of banged about. You wind up having a s**tload of fun, but after four months I'm beat." On being a man remade: "I live a clean lifestyle. OK, so I don't put the same level of energy into healthy living as I did into unhealthy living. I put an enormous amount of energy into the destruction of my body and if I put the same amount into treating my body in a positive way, that too would end up being a sickness. But I eat really well, drink loads of green tea, and take a s**tload of vitamins. I want to live for as long as f**king possible now. I have two boys that I want to see grow up." On his ambitions: "I honestly, I just want to have fun. I know that's grossly broad and unspecific. I mean, yeah, I want to make good films. I don't want to rip people off and have them paying $15 to see a film, and then come out of the film and go 'well, that was s**t'. I don't want to be in those films, I really don't. And I want to be as decent and supportive of a dad and friend as I can be, and to travel the world like I used to with my mind, but now with my body. I want to be inspired by what I'm able to do. Because I'm a lucky b**stard."
