Kate Beckinsale and Jessica Biel Officially Cast in TOTAL RECALL

Thursday, May 26, 2011

Last month we heard that Sony Pictures had offered Kate Beckinsale the role of Lori opposite Colin Farrell in their Total Recall remake. With her husband, Len Wiseman, directing the project and given that they previously collaborated on the Underworld movies, it wasn’t really much of a surprise. However, sources have now told us that she’s officially signed on and Jessica Biel is going to play the other female lead (Melina). In addition to the casting news, we’ve been told filming starts Monday in Toronto.
For those playing catch up on the remake, Colin Farrell is set to star, Ethan Hawke has a cameo, and Bryan Cranston is poised to play the villain. The remake will apparently be closer to Phillip K. Dick’s source material than the 1990 Arnold Schwarzenegger flick. Farrell plays a factory worker who begins to believe he’s a spy for either the nation stat Euromerica or New Shanghai, but he doesn’t know which.
Heat Vision reports that Bill Nighy has joined the cast as the enigmatic Quatto, the leader of the resistance.More

Tv Spots For HORRIBLE BOSSES

Wednesday, May 18, 2011

Here are two new TV spots from the Seth Gordon comedy Horrible Bosses starring Jason Bateman, Charlie Day, Jason Sudeikis, Jennifer Aniston, Colin Farrell, Kevin Spacey, Donald Sutherland, Julie Bowen and Jamie Foxx. This movie looks hilarious and has a great cast. Farrell and Farrell are my favorite bad bosses.

Sam Rockwell, Mickey Rourke, and Christopher Walken Join Colin Farrell in SEVEN PSYCHOPATHS

Wednesday, May 11, 2011

Quick — before you read the headline, think of four male actors you’d like to see in a movie together. Now, less than 2% of you named Colin Farrell, Sam Rockwell, Mickey Rourke, and Christopher Walken. But 14% combined two or more of these actors, and an impressive 37% of your lists included at least one. This bodes well for Seven Psychopaths, the black comedy which secured Farrell, Rockwell, Rourke, and Walken at the Cannes Film Festival today. Per Variety, the story centers on “a screenwriter (Farrell) struggling for inspiration for his script, Seven Psychopaths, who gets drawn into the dog kidnapping schemes of his oddball friends (Rockwell and Walken).” How can you not love a movie that casts Rockwell and Walken as “oddball friends”/dog kidnappers separated by 26 years in age? Rourke will play a gangster who causes trouble when his dog goes missing. (Given Rourke’s love of dogs and general flirtation with insanity, he may not know he is in Seven Psychopaths.)Source

Dangerous Vampire Colin Farrell

Colin Farrell's bad boy looks helped him snag the vampire role in the upcoming remake of 'Fright Night.Colin Farrell was the perfect choice to play a charming vampire in 'Fright Night' because he has a "dangerous quality".
The Irish actor plays sweet-talking bloodsucker Jerry in a modern day remake of the 1985 cult classic, in which his character moves next door to horror movie obsessive Charley Brewster (Anton Yelchin), and director Craig Gillespie says he was the only man for the role.He explained: "We were so lucky to get Colin. It was perfect. He epitomises the character in 'Fright Night'. There's a dangerous quality to him and he's very charismatic. He's a very dark version of what's been in the vampire realm these days."
Colin is relishing the chance to play a blood sucking vampire but admitted he did struggle to keep his character believable. He told Empire magazine: "I mean for sure you try to make things as real as possible. I have conversations with myself: 'Well he wouldn't do that'and I go 'What the f**k, he's 400 years old'. I mean really? Craig and I have had arguments on how far to push it and how far not to.
"'Twilight'takes a lot of oxygen in a certain audience's requirement. It has its place which is great but this is different. I believe it's going to be fairly bloody. There's not a lot of sex but sex is certainly implied more than once. Hopefully it will work on a plethora of levels."Source
