Wednesday, November 9, 2011

At this point, it’s going to be very tough for the cast of In Bruges director Martin McDonagh’s Seven Psychopaths to get any better. He’s already got Colin Farrell, Sam Rockwell, and Christopher Walken lined up, and now Woody Harrelson, Tom Waits, and Olga Kurylenko (Quantum of Solace) have joined the line-up. Farrell stars as a screenwriter struggling with his latest script, titled Seven Psychopaths, who gets roped into a dog-napping job by his friends (Rockwell and Walken). Things take a turn when the beloved Shih Tzu of a psychopathic gangster goes missing, and the trio find themselves on the run.MORE

Colin Farrell and William Monahan Talk LONDON BOULEVARD And SEVEN PSYCHOPATHS

However, the same day we did that interview, I did another one with Monahan, except the second conversation included Colin Farrell. Rather than ask the same junket type questions, we spent a large portion of our time talking about what got them both into making movies, and their favorite actors and directors. After being movie nerds, we then talked about their first meeting, the script, how they found Farrell’s character, filming in London, and rehearsals. Additionally, Farrell talked a bit about Martin McDonagh‘s Seven Psychopaths and Total Recall. Here

Five Characters Who Are Sexier Than The Actors Who Play Them

Jerry (Colin Farrell), Fright Night
Colin Farrell was widely considered to be a pretty sexy guy, until his messy personal life started getting headlines. His trip to rehab was obviously a good choice for his own life, but it's not a turn-on. Then there was the sex tape he made with Playboy model Nicole Narain, which was more uncomfortable than arousing. But his role as vampire-next-door Jerry in the 2011 remake of Fright Night was great proof of the sexiness of evil. Jerry was dangerous and seductive, and unlike Farrell, he seemed to take showers. Farrell seems to be moving past his status as a tabloid mainstay, though, so maybe soon he'll start seeming more doable than a bloodthirsty vampire with amazing eyebrows. Source
